About 45 Park Lane

45 Park Lane is the younger, more contemporary sibling of The Dorchester next door, occupying the site of the former In & Out Club on the corner of Park Lane and Hertford Street. Opened in 2011, the hotel was designed by Thierry Despont as a personal art gallery as much as a hotel — works by Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, and Banksy are placed throughout the building, making every corridor and lobby space a curatorial experience. The hotel's 46 rooms and suites are the largest in London for their category, each designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, bespoke art, and materials of extraordinary quality. CUT by Wolfgang Puck — the American chef's European flagship — serves the most celebrated steakhouse menu in London, while the Park Bar terrace is one of the great London outdoor drinking spots overlooking Hyde Park. Guests also have full access to The Dorchester's facilities next door. Best for: contemporary art lovers, steak enthusiasts, those who prefer a more modern aesthetic to the historic grand hotel, and anyone wanting Hyde Park views with a New York energy.
