With only 40 rooms and suites, the property operates more like a private club than a hotel: there is no formal lobby, no uniformed concierge team at a desk, and no conventional check-in procedure. Guests are received by a personal attaché who handles all logistics discretely. The two restaurants — Gabriel and La Pagode de Cos — are among the best hotel restaurants in Paris. The spa is a full ESPA program. The building itself was originally constructed for Napoleon III and the interiors by Jacques Garcia blend Second Empire and contemporary luxury in a palette of deep burgundy, ivory, and gilt.
