L'Hôtel is where Oscar Wilde spent his final days and died in 1900 — the most literary address in Paris, and one of the most extraordinary small hotels in the world. Its extraordinary circular rotunda, cascading with exotic birds and subtropical plants, rises six floors through the heart of the building. Designer Jacques Garcia transformed each of the 20 rooms into a distinct theatrical world, and the basement spa and pool occupy the original stone cellars.
