The nine open-fronted suites of Sasaab are styled in a Moroccan-Swahili idiom entirely unexpected in the Kenyan bush, with sweeping views of the acacia savanna, the river below, and Mount Kenya's distant glaciers on clear mornings. The conservancy's Northern Kenyan wildlife—reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx—cannot be seen in South Kenya.
