About The Hoxton, Holborn
The Hoxton Holborn was the second Hoxton to open — and the hotel that proved the original Shoreditch formula could scale. Occupying a converted Victorian building on High Holborn, the Hoxton brings its signature blend of all-day neighbourhood restaurant, buzzing lobby bar, and genuinely good value bedrooms to the Midtown zone between the City and the West End. The Hoxton's formula is deceptively simple: treat guests like residents, keep prices honest, and make the ground floor feel like a neighbourhood destination rather than a hotel lobby. Hubbard & Bell serves an all-day American-influenced menu that draws as many locals as guests. The communal breakfast — served in a brown paper bag delivered to your door — is one of London hospitality's great quirks. The rooms are compact but brilliantly designed. The location is exceptional for both the City and Covent Garden. Best for: independent travellers, business visitors to Holborn's legal district, those attending events at the British Museum, and anyone who finds luxury hotel lobbies alienating but still wants great design.
